Gee Creek Farm Community is changing!

Greetings and peace to you! Gee Creek farm Community is changing for the better. Our mission is to serve and nourish the community that supports us. We want to expand our service and to become more sustainable and more inclusive. While we are very grateful to our farm community members we want to reach out to the broader community as well. We are hoping to become an even greater resource to our region. We plan on expanding our offerings of education, wholesome food and employment to also include; recreation, entertainment and social connection.

Please have a look around our web site and consider getting involved. We need your help and we are sure you will agree with the many that have come to help here that a visit to the country is a fun and enlightening one. Unlike many CSA or Club farms we are not far from town, just a few miles north of Vancouver and we have a farm large enough to accommodate many diverse activities. We will be growing food and teaching organic farming as we have done but also adding classes and entertainment events as well. We think this will add a great deal of value to our members and the community at large. Please check out all the pages we have listed here and see what interests you. Please consider becoming more involved. The land based life is wholesome, healthy and fun! Learning skills and being out in the fresh air is great for the body and soul and appropriate for folks of all ages and skill levels. Working together, recreating together is fun and builds connection. Our community farm is a lot more than just good fresh organic food! See you all at the markets and at the farm!

We will be offering a farm camp this year! We think this will be an exciting addition to our community. Kids will learn about organic farming and homesteading skills. The exciting experience will contain elements of both learning and doing. Days will be packed with classes and activities to put what they have learned to use. We hope this will give many young people an invaluable experience and education. Sign up and have fun!
